Fly into Madrid-Barajas. Madrid is the usual routing from the UK and the USA; Granada is nearer in a straight line but has far fewer connections. Estate transport meets your flight, and the transfer is part of the package.

1 October to 31 March. La Nava is about 3,200 hectares at Castellar de Santiago, Ciudad Real, run for driven red-legged partridge, with big-game hunting and stalking available by arrangement. A day is four or five drives, with tapas after the second drive and lunch at the end, and a loader looking after each gun throughout.
