March has started and that means that spring has sprung. We had an excellent game shooting season in Scotland but it is now just a distant memory. Fortunately we have the perfect way to extend the shooting season for our clients. Spanish partridges combine all the excitement that this wonderful game bird delivers with beautiful balmy weather and fantastic Spanish cuisine and hospitality. It is no surprise to us that this area of the business is growing strongly.
We are delighted to announce that we have added a new shoot to our Spanish stable. The estate lies in the south of Spain, and we can now offer two top class shoots covering both the central and southern regions of the country. The quality of the partridges ranks equally with the very best available in either the UK or Spain. It also confers the advantage of extending the season into March.
Hot barrels and high birds?
Despite a high level of repeat custom we are taking bookings for additional trips to Spain for the upcoming season. This can be for whole teams, groups or individuals. If you can’t wait till February to get to shoot in Spain, the season actually starts in October.
If your interest lies in big game and you want to take part in another very traditional form of Spanish hunting then join us for one of our Monterias. Few activities can compete with the excitement of being part of a driven deer and boar hunt. The sight and sound of several hundred working hounds will have the pulse racing even before the quarry bursts into view.

Shirt sleeves in February
We constantly strive to provide our clients with the best hunting experiences available. We are thrilled to have added some new Scottish shoots for the upcoming season. Two in particular feature regularly in the “Best Shoots” lists as compiled by hunters lucky enough to know. We are confident that clients will experience some very high and challenging birds.
We are running some Introduction To Deer Stalking Courses in April so please Contact Us for more details and to get yourself booked onto one of these great value for money, and very knowledgeable courses that promise to give you a great foundation before doing your DSC Level 1.
In addition to this, we have some limited availability for people wanting to come and do their DSC Level 2 stalks with an accredited witness, so please do Contact Us in order to take advantage of one of these opportunities.
